Seer role in Mafia
Our unique Citizens-side role. Each night picks one player and learns their exact role (not just faction). The classical Sheriff equivalent, but with more granular info.
Abilities and night actions
The Seer is our answer to the classic Sheriff. Each night she picks one living player and learns their exact role: Bandito, Citizen, Widow, or another Seer (if there were one). Stronger than the Sheriff: that one only sees "Mafia or not" — the Seer sees the specific class.
How to play
Use nights efficiently. You get 3-4 checks at most (games are short). Don't burn night one on a random target — pick an active player who showed themselves in the first day discussion.
Keep results in your head. After two checks you have a picture: you know one Bandito or two Citizens. Enough to steer the day vote without revealing.
Reveal at the right moment: when accused, or when the team is split between two candidates and you know which is which. Reveal = your night death, but if you've passed the key info first, you've done your job.
Key rule
Track your investigation results. When you find a Mafia member, time your reveal: too early and they kill you, too late and you may be voted out as suspicious.
This role in Mafia de los Muertos
The Seer is one of four roles in our version of Mafia. Each game has exactly one. Her decision to reveal or stay hidden often decides the whole game: right timing = Citizens win, hasty reveal = almost a loss.
